Your clinic's rooms, and who is in each one.
See every room at each location on a floor plan, place your team, practitioners and patients, and hand a patient the forms and agreements to complete there, on the room's tablet or beside you.
$15 a month plus GST, free for the first 14 days (up to 25 sends a day). Cheaper still beside another app.

From the waiting room to a signed form, in the room.
Set out your rooms
Each location starts with a Waiting room. Owners and admins add the rest, named as your clinic calls them: Room 3, Dr Shaw's room, the procedure room.
Place people in them
Drag colleagues and practitioners between rooms on the floor plan, and bring in patients and their carers from your patient list and address book.
Hand out what the patient needs
From a patient's row in the room, hand out a published form, or a form or agreement already sent to them and still waiting. Up to twenty at once.
They complete it in the room
On the room's tablet, or on a colleague's device with them. The signed PDF says it was signed in person, in which room, and who was there.

Then try it yourself, step by step:
Pair a tablet to a room
Turn a tablet into the room's own device, where patients complete what you hand them.

A floor plan for each location
Rooms share their walls and each has a door. Practitioners, staff and patients are marked differently, so the plan reads at a glance. Prefer rows? Switch to the list.
One room each
A person is in one room at a time, so placing them somewhere else moves them. Colleagues and practitioners not yet in a room wait above the plans, ready to drag in.
Practitioners, with or without an account
Place anyone on your roster. A practitioner who has a Medervia account is also in the room's chat.
Records shared to the room
Share a record to a room from its Share menu, and the people in the room find it there as a card, without forwarding anything.
Chat with the room
Every room has its own conversation with the colleagues and practitioners placed in it, so a question goes to whoever is there.
A tablet for each room
Pair a tablet by scanning a QR code or typing a short code. It shows only what was handed out in its room today, and it updates the moment something changes.
Filled in together, live
With Form Builder, a practitioner opens the same form on their own device beside the patient's tablet. Each sees the other's pointer, taps and answers as they happen.
Take over to show a part
The practitioner can take over the tablet's screen to bring the patient to the right section, and release it when they are done.
No email address needed
A patient without an email address can still be handed a form to complete in the room. Your clinic keeps the signed copy.
Privacy-aware by design.
A room's tablet is a shared device in a room patients walk into, so it is built to know as little as possible. A form handed out in a room is completed there, with the room and the people in it on the record.
The room's tablet
- Paired by an owner or admin, with a code that works once and lasts two minutes, or a QR code that fills it in
- Shows only what was handed out in its room that day, listed by first name
- Updates the moment something is handed out, completed or withdrawn
- Holds no clinic account, and reaches nothing but what was handed out to its room
- Unpaired from the room's page, it stops at once
The board and the record
- Patients and carers are taken out of every room overnight
- Placing a patient, handing out and withdrawing are each recorded in the audit trail
- A handout stays open only while the patient is in the room, and times out at the end of the day
- The board can show patients by first name and initial instead of in full
- Working on a form together shares pointers and taps, never the answers: those are saved, then read back
Medervia is designed with Australian healthcare privacy expectations in mind, and it is a tool rather than advice. Your practice remains responsible for how its rooms and devices are used.
Part of your clinic, not a separate system.
Start from the patient
Every app can be started from a patient's record or from your contacts list, with several patients ticked at once where the app sends to many. Whatever an app produces for a patient is gathered on that patient's record.
Your records stay if you stop
Cancel an app and nothing it produced is lost. Its records and documents stay with your clinic and on each patient's record, and your patients keep their copies. Only sending new ones stops.
Fewer clipboards between the desk and the room.
Set out your rooms once, pair a tablet, and hand the next patient their forms where they are sitting.
