Draft with AI

Describe what you need in a sentence and accept the draft: questions in a form, part of a procedure, or a welcome letter.

Whoever can edit the form, procedure or template. An owner or admin can turn Ask AI off in Settings.

Ask AI writes a first draft where you are working, so you start from something rather than a blank page. It only drafts: nothing changes until you accept, and nothing reaches a patient until someone sends it.

   In a form, choose Ask AI

   In Form Builder's editor, press Add where the questions should go and choose Ask AI under Special. A card opens at that place.

   On a new, empty form, press Start with AI to draft the whole form, sections and all.

   In a procedure or a letter, press Ask AI

   In Handbook's procedure editor or the welcome letter editor, press Ask AI at the left of the toolbar. You can also type /ai and a space on an empty line.

   In a letter, the draft uses the same placeholders as Insert, so each patient's name and appointment are filled in when the pack is sent.

   Say what you need, then press Draft

   Write a sentence or two, such as "allergies and current medicines, with a follow-up for each Yes", and press Draft. Never include a real patient's details.

   The more you say about who it is for and what must be asked, the closer the first draft.

   Check it, then Accept

   The draft appears greyed out, exactly as it will look. Press Accept to put it in, Try again to change what you asked, or Discard to drop it.

   Once accepted, it is ordinary content: edit, move or delete any of it, then publish or save as you always do.
